1. Where do you teach? CASSA - Creative Arts Studio of San Antonio 11107 Wurzbach, Suite 307 San Antonio, TX 78230 2. What hours are you available? I currently have openings for private lessons at the following times: Classes offered Monday-Saturday. Please call for open times 3. What levels do you teach? I teach all levels of flute lessons, from beginner through advanced to include professional flutists. I teach beginner through advanced piano lessons. I have experience teaching all ages, from 5 to 55.
4. What classes do you teach? I offer private lessons for flute and piano, with an emphasis on classical music. I also teach popular piano, accompanying, and modern flute technique upon request. I am currently offering a group piano class for ages 5 through 7. Flute choir, wind ensemble and UIL Solo and Ensemble preparation classes are also available. In all lessons I maintain a strong focus on musicality, performance, and having fun with music. Each lesson will also include theory and music history at all levels of study.
5. What are your rates? $50 per hour lesson I offer a referral fee discount, if you refer a new student to me you will receive 2 free lessons! I accept payment in the form of cash, money order or personal check. 6. What experience do you have teaching and performing? I have a Bachelors Degree in Flute Performance from Northern Arizona University where I studied flute with Phil Swanson, one of the greatest flute performers of all time and an original founder of the National Flute Association. I also studied piano at NAU and was the accompanist for vocal performance students. I have studied classical piano since 1985 and flute since 1991.
