Not at this time, however, the skills that are required can be applied to any writing course you are currently taking or plan on taking in the future.

Why would I want to take a songwriting at CASSA?

What do I need to get started at CASSA? Desire, positive attitude, dedicated to learning. 

I have never written a song before. How long will it take to write my first song? It depends on the individual. However, we can foster the songwriting process for you to save you time and energy.

Do I need to play an instrument to write a song? 

No, but our instructors will show you some basic musical skills that will help in the writing process. 

I play an instrument already how will this help me?

 If you already play an instrument they will help you understand melody and how your instrument can accompany it. 

I've already written a song. Now what?

The staff at CASSA believe that every song should be heard. They will work with you to develop your songs so you can take it to the next level of public performance. Or if you do not want to perform the songs yourself, we can help with finding musicians that can perform your songs.
